(RoW Jan. 15 – 21)
I was in the mood for a refreshing, bright and cheery image, so I played around with Vue 6’s new features and some new, high quality plants I recently bought from C3D. I created this scene with a couple procedural terrains, some three-dimensional clouds, and a Spectral atmosphere.
A note on plants: One of Vue’s outstanding features is a type of plant only available in the Vue product line: Solid Growth vegetation. Solid Growth technology allows you to grow any type of plant in your scene and no two plants will look the same. Absolutely amazing. (Static plants may come in different sizes and colors, but they’ll always be the same no matter how many times you place them in your scene.)
My favorite plants are created by Linda Daireaux who specializes in creating realistic Solid Growth plants. She creates the textures for the plants from actual photos she has taken. Linda’s plants are incredibly detailed and Incredibly Lush. Thank you Linda!
The render took an hour or so, and I blurred the image and brightened it slightly in Photoshop. Enjoy!
A special thank you to Faith for the wonderful title.
Nice picture, Brady!
