(RoW Oct. 23 – 29)
In this scene, I worked mainly on the atmosphere. The atmosphere is volumetric (for more info on volumetric lighting: Tor Mirmanda). I created one global procedural terrain (see: Spring Heights) and added my own custom material.
I did a little postwork in Photoshop softening the atmosphere and making it a little brighter. Starry Night is a fairly simple scene, but beautiful nonetheless. Thanks for looking!
Take a look at what other Vuers had to say on C3D:
- “It almost vibrates in the sun’s aura! Very good!!” – Richard Blue
- “Fantastic and dreamy image! Impressive job!” – Stardust Crossing
- “Oooo. Very cool looking. Nice work.” – DennyDenning
- “Great lighting – classic 60’s sci-fi, maybe?” – Richard Lyall
Cool. I like.
Wow!! That “Stardust Crossing” person is right, it’s very dreamy!!
I agree with Richard, it looks like a classic sci fi image from the 60s or 70s. Funny, I didn’t think of that until I read his comment. M
… whoa. That’s incredible. Beautiful scene, Brady.
Hehe… whoops! That was me up there. *grins stupidly*
For some reason I thought it was you all along, Faith.
Thanks for the confirmation.
You’re welcome, I guess. lol
So, where’s this week’s picture? *waits patiently*
