(RoW Oct. 16 – 22)

I created Majikku Island for a contest hosted at Renderosity. The goal of the contest was to illustrate a scene from a short story.

“The craggy towers are said to resemble the fingers of a rock giant’s hand ascending up from beneath the sea.” -Legends of Mernac- Majikku Island

This scene took my computer to the limit. There were so many polygons that Vue crashed a couple times. One really hard thing about this image, was that I had to individually place each tree on the rocks. I rendered the image, and then did a little bit of postwork in Photoshop on the fog. Enjoy!
