(RoW April 24 – 30)

Hidden Ops was created with Vue and Poser.

In Vue 5, I created my atmosphere. The atmosphere in this scene is different in multiple ways to my other images, because I was experimenting with some interesting lighting effects. (See the golden light coming from behind the soldiers.) I also played around with different kinds of clouds. I then placed some fir trees around the scene (not one of them is the same as the other), and added some tall grass.

In Poser 6, I set up the soldier’s poses, clothing, and guns, then imported them into my scene in Vue. I also imported the guard tower from Poser, and put the finishing touches on my image.

Rendering wasn’t much of a problem for this scene. It only took an hour, and then I was on to creating something else.
