(RoW March 20 – 26)
Going Home is my first image that I created using Vue 5 Esprit + Poser 6. In Poser, I loaded the ship (as object) and saved my scene. I then switched to Vue 5 and imported the scene (object) into Vue. The atmosphere in my image is pretty basic- sky, clouds, sun, water. But I edited the atmosphere and used GI (Global Illumination) for more real life effects. I set the boat in my created water and pointed the camera toward the sun, almost making a silhouette of the object. I changed the cloud fomations (and added a little grey) to look like a coming storm.
If I tried making this atmosphere in Poser, it would be almost impossible. Poser 6 concentrates more on animating and posing figures and objects, while Vue 5 Esprit takes on the challenge of creating atmospheres and landscapes.
That picture is so realistic looking! I can’t wait til you get Vue 5 – you’ll be able to make some amazing renders and animations. Keep up the good work!
Of all the animation pictures you’ve shown me, and I’ve seen on your website, this is my favorite!!!!
